WAG discontinue contract with Express Scripts and Supporting Loyal costumers

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The Walgreens and Express Scripts dispute has been controversial in the media for a while and has finally come up to the decision to just let their contract expire before new year. By January 1, 2012, they are no longer partnering with Express Script in order to help their costumers cut cost paying the middle man of health care system between Employers and their employees in America. I have heard in many family online forums how they are badly affected because they need to find other pharmacy that accepts express scripts and they pay deductibles more and their prescriptions savings is not lesser than what Walgreens can offer. Other than these employees, the ones affected the most are the American military families because their health and prescription drug program is from Tricare. The said program is still in Express Scripts, and so I am worried for my friends who's dependent to their main family provider working from the military. But then Walgreens doesn't want to leave their loyal costumers affected behind as they have just recently offered a Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens where costumers save more from 8,000 brand-name and generic medications, discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers, diabetic supplies and bonuses when they purchase walgreens brand products and photo services. They have an ongoing promo of this Savings Club benefit of $10 for family membership and $5 for individual membership. There are lots of costumers signing up and felt relived of the matter as prescription prices just kept on increasing. I remember buying my prescriptions to Walgreens when I was in Syracuse, NY and I am satisfied of their service. I am even more happy that they truly care for their costumers and that they do service for their benefit first. Show some love and support to them by visiting and following Walgreens on Twitter and liking Walgreens on Facebook to keep track to their special sales and discounts.
